Perthshire Hockey Club was formed in 1975 from the amalgamation of Perth and Murray Royal Mens’ Clubs and Perth High School FP Ladies—we are now the only hockey team in Perth.
The club comprises of 2 Ladies and 3 Men’s outdoor teams, playing in the Midland and National leagues. During the indoor season we also run Ladies and Men’s indoor sides, playing in Midland and National Leagues respectively.
Most of the club’s home matches are currently played at the Community School of Auchterarder or Strathallan School in Forgandenny.
All the teams train weekly throughout the season and play league matches at weekends.
The close season also sees some friendly mixed hockey, played on Saturdays.
The Club also has a thriving junior squad catering from P4 up to S4 (8 to 18).
The club runs an Under-18 Boys, an Under-15 girls plus 2 mixed U14 8 a-side teams as well as 3 Under-12 mixed 6 a-side teams.
The club is also proud of our Veterans side (for the over 35’s) which takes part in an East of Scotland League
